Moussie Sayers
Lending her creative eye to the world of fashion, Moussie Sayers started off in the clothes industry designing innovative knitted jumpers. In 1993, it was time for a new adventure and so Nordic Style was founded. This was how the Gustavian style, generally accredited to King Gustav III, was introduced to England as painted furniture was then unheard of. It was indeed the famous Nordic light that was brought into English homes. Not only did the colour palette perfectly suit the small London spaces, but the classic and timeless elegance of the furniture also responded to a clear gap in the British market.
“Nordic Style didn’t grow from a particular business plan, it was just an extension of something that [she has] a natural passion for”. By browsing our website or by paying a visit to our Chelsea showroom, you will see that it is in fact the whole Nordic Style that we have on offer, from classic beautiful furniture for every room of the house to wide ranges of gorgeous fabrics and accessories.
